The Pot Lid Lifters by Tovolo are putting a stop to precariously balanced saucepan lids.
The lifters, which come in a set of three farm animals - a chicken, pig and sheep - fit onto most saucepan rims to prop the lid to allow steam to escape so pots don't boil over.
